还是UW这种中等学校。。。
This year’s UW Computer Science & Engineering seniors have reported
starting salaries as high as $105,000 (that’s the highest I’ve heard –
there may be higher) and signing bonuses as high as $30,000 (ditto).
Every year we’re a leading supplier of students to top companies such as
Amazon.com, Google, and Microsoft (as are Berkeley, MIT, and Stanford). In a
typical year, 35 percent of our graduates go to those three companies, 15
percent go to other large companies, 30 percent go to small companies and
startups, and 15 percent go to graduate school in some field (law, business,
medicine, and biology, as well as computer science).

当然很受欢迎。usnews的排名，UW的CS ranks 7th in US

是特别有用。

发帖数: 3417 | 21 最好的几家公司是可以给到100k, 但是肯定不是平均了。老中总体上negotiate还是不
够，感觉大家master, PhD跟小本拿的股票也差不多，就是base稍微高点。

I start in the summer of 2012. I was offered $100k in base salary, $7k
signing bonus, and RSUs worth $150k.

I am graduating in the spring of 2012, and I was offered $100,000 in salary,
a $50,000 signing bonus, $5,000 in relocation, and as many RSUs as
necessary to be worth $120,000
EDIT (in response to comments): The signing bonus is paid in its entirety
before the start date (but it does have to be paid back if you don't stay
for at least a year). There are also semi-annual personal and company
performance bonuses. The RSUs vest over four years with a cliff each year.

I can confirm that I got the exact same offer as the other Anon User. $100k
salary, $50k signing bonus, $120k in RSUs, $5k relocation. Bonus range was
something like $10k-20k per year. There was no 401k matching though.
On a side note, I got a Google offer at the same time, and it was the same
except that they were offering about $150k worth of equity instead of $120k,
relocation was $7500, and they had 401k matching.
My understanding is that all the variation in compensation package is in the
signing bonus and the equity grant, but I haven't confirmed this. I know
some of my friends getting offers from Google didn't get a signing bonus and
were offered less equity. But I'm not sure about how much variation there
is with Facebook's offers.
