•Proficient with MATLAB, CAD, LDV measurements, Dynamic Signal
Analyzer, accelerometer, optics, and other basic mechanical and electrical
lab equipment--FEA or CFD experience is a plus, but not required.
•Proficient in data analysis and time- and frequency-domain signal
processing.
•Basic understanding of control systems.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
•Strong problem solving skills - be able to collect data and analyze
data metrics and make recommendations.
•Must be a strong team player who is self-motivated, possesses
effective written and oral communication skills and has a sense of urgency
to get a task completed.
Education and/or Experience
•BS in Mechanical Engineering or closely related degree (with a
majority of coursework overlap), 8+ years related experience, or
•MS Mechanical Engineering or closely related degree (with a majority
of coursework overlap), 6+ years related experience, or
•PhD Mechanical Engineering or closely related degree (with a majority
of coursework overlap), 4+ years related experience
