stealing a 6-year-old student’s iPad and selling it online for Christmas
cash, the Forsyth County News reported Wednesday.
Kelsey Rose Salie, 21, of Flowery Branch, told investigators she had taken
the device and sold it through her boyfriend’s Facebook page, according to
the report. But the buyer noticed the parents’ contact information when the
iPad was activated and called the owners of the device, who then called
police.
Salie, a junior at North Georgia College and State University, was
identified in her boyfriend’s Facebook photos by the student, the newspaper
reported. Salie was arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft and booked
