I have been following the Thai royal family for a while.
The Crown Prince/new King, Vajiralongkorn is easily the worst candidate for
the Thai throne. He is a playboy, having had 3 wives. His first wife was his
first cousin that his mom insisted he marry. But he started a romance and
preferred this Thai actress, which he had 4 kids with. He had 3 boys with
this actress and they've all grown up to be very professional. At some point
, he accused her of cheating on him and banished her and the kids out of
Thailand sometime in the mid-90s.
The prince went and kidnapped the one daughter they had together. The 3
other boys have grown up in the US and have become doctors and lawyers. I
believe a good reason he did this was because he sort of knew they were
probably better candidates to the throne than he is (he's 64, his 3 sons are
in their late 20s and 30s).
His 3rd wife is the one that was prancing around nude in a thong, which was
video taped and released over the internet. They have one young son together
and some rumors say the kid has developmental problems.
He lacks proper manners as well. He's like the Ron Artest of royal children.
Also, his life is chalk full of rumors and stories.
There were rumors that he would get so mad at his siblings that he would
pull a gun on them.
He trained as a pilot and had a spat with the Japanese. There was a time
where he rolled his own plane onto a runway and blocked an official Japanese
government's plane.
Rumor is he has HIV or some type of blood cancer.
Another rumor is he has connections to Thailand's mafias.
He had a dog named foo foo that he promoted to Air Marshall. The dude
allowed the dog to come to official state functions.
Constant womanizer. His current girlfriend is a Thai air stewardess. He
frequently leaks nude photos of these women onto the internet.
He was supposedly kicked out of the Royal Military College in Australia.
This is like getting kicked out of Annapolis or West Point.
He has the nickname of "Sia-O". Sia is a Thai-Chinese slang word for "
gangster" and "O" comes from the royal title he has.
He spends the majority of his time outside of Thailand, mainly in Germany
where he parks many of his airplanes.
Germany impounded one of his jets because Thailand owed 30mil Euros to a
German company. The Thai government paid 20mil of it to get the jet back.
