会,他说圣诞节期间,没有钱,他会尽快想办法,结果后来再打电话就一直不接,眼看孩子
快要出生了,于是今天跟LG去了他家.
他本人不在家,他妈妈和他的儿子在,说我们把房子弄得很脏,他们清理花了很多钱,可是
他清理并没有电话给我们过,我俩都刚来美国语言不是很好,他balbal说了一堆,我也没
听太清楚都清理什么了.
我搬出来前清理了房子,可惜我没照相.其次他清理房间的费用也没有与我商量,我不确
定是不是花了那么多钱(因为他自己本身就是油漆工)所以我现在是不是直接起诉他啊?
我们是学生,没钱请律师,自己又语言不好,说不过他们,现在有什么好的方法阿?谢谢，

First, read your lease. Usually there is a term that the landlord must
either return your security deposit or explain the deductions in 30 days.
Have you received such a letter?
If not, first, write him a certified letter requesting the full amount to be
returned within five days. If you haven't received in five days, then go to
the small claim court.
As the landlord breached the lease first, you can get the full amount back. |

房东还钱。
第二，在信中明确说明归还Deposit的要求。写明他有一个月时间归还deposit， 或者
出示第三方出示的statement，可以明确说明清理费用。
第三，明确提出如果没有按时收到deposit 或者 statement， 你会通过法律途径解决
问题。
一定要通过寄信的方式，而不是打电话（谁也无法证明你打过，也没法证明谈话内容）
，这样你以后有证据说明你已经合理催促了。通常你发一封措辞严厉的信，他就会就范

发帖数: 586 | 11 多谢，已经解决了，我今天见了房东本人，他说我扔了个沙发在他放垃圾的地方，他找
人清理了，还有一些屋里的墙角有细菌。。。。然后就是哭穷，说自己没有工作，最近
不给我电话是手机坏了，没钱换新的，房贷也拖欠了。。。。我最后同意他给我615（
先付300）3月1号前再去拿另外的315。
