我们第一次买房，预算不多，准备买一个40万左右的房子。昨天去看了这个在
Irvington的townhouse，虽然稍微老了点，但是里面的装修很别致，看得出主人花了很
多心思。1500多尺的作为starter home我觉得也足够了。离bart也比较近。listing
price是425k，如果我们下offer，应该多少比较适合？谢谢！ | f********l

money. Our pre-tax income is only 100k and my husband is the sole source of
income.

run and you won't regret it. All schools are the top of tops.
$100k @ interest rate of 5% only adds $400 per month to you budget...
If you take 5/1 ARM, and squeeze a bit from other expenses, you can make it.
Try your best.
I once bought a TH in the Gome/Hopk/MS area at $200k, and I sold it $320k
one yr later due to job relocation. It was once up to $680k, and now is
about $525k.

发帖数: 2971 | 5 $100K is a lot, for $400 extra per month, you can have a very nice vacation
each year. Personally i belive that If you buying a house to enjoy life,
then don't push too hard. There will be more spending than usual since you
need to add more furniture and accessories.
I only look at the house in my price range. I know extra dollar will get a
better one. But i have many place to spend money rather than just spend on
house.
For invest, that's a different story.
