I have a problem with a loan broker I worked with. Here's my story.
I submitted an offer for a short sale, and bank sent me an unoffical approva
l letter. Then I started working with this loan broker. He prepared for all
the docs, but we still didn't see the official approval letter. During this
period, he ordered the appraisal for me.
However, after about 3 months the bank countered back with a higher price, a
nd I don't want to accept that. So I went to o |

He has prepared all the doc for you and even ordered the appraisal.
He did not make any money on all his work. And right now he has to pay for
the appraisal for you.
If you give him the credit card information, you have already authorized him to give this number to the appraisal company to charge it when they performed the appraisal. |

Short sale is different. I guess you aleady get the contract which was

Buyer will start the inspection and loan immediately.
For your case, you just changed the mind that the bank increase the price.
But you still use the appraisal to compare your offer.
So you actually benefit the appraisal.
The broker won't start the loan process without a go from you and your agent
since he has no benefit from starting the loan process earlier.
In your case, he even wasted all his time and earned
