hi there,
I have a problem with orthotropic material modeling. The material geometry is
very simple. It is a cubic. After I define the material as type=Engineering
Constant, and fill in 9 constants (moduli in principal direction, shear
moduli, Poisson's ratio), I try to submit to Abaqus standard for analysis.

these modulus are not independent from one another.
you dont have to input so many modulus. you input caused the confilction
of different material properties, so comes the problem.

你用过ABAQUS吗?不要乱讲。他又没有说要输入九个不同的数字。
这个错误只是因为在6。x版本的ABAQUS里面,如果要定义任何
anisotropic property你必须首先定义一个local orientation
system作为标定。只要加个*orientation system, name=xxx,
再在*solid section后面加个orientation=xxx就可以了。
不要不看ABAQUS的出错信息就乱下结论。
