only 1 out of 196 categorical positions, and 10 out of 385 advanced positions were
unfilled this year, it's the lowest number over recent years, also a
significant drop compared to last year. for other specialties, it shows the
same kind of trend. you can find these statistics under my report at nrmp
website. scramble will be tough this year.
