request IMGs to provide proof of eligibility for licensure in nation of
graduation. I didn't practice back in China and don't have this type of
document with me. Has anybody encountered a similar situation before/
currently?

my friend who did his residency in Mass didn't need it,either. |

your medical school will do. Like, "Sand08 is eligible to practice general
medicine in China." or "eligible for licensure..." blah blah...

office, and they think a certificate of completion from my medical school
will do the job. I will therefore get an official translation of the
certificate毕业证 besides diploma学位证。
Additionally， I asked a current CMG attending practising in MO and he told
me he just wrote sth like ""When I graduated from medical school in 19**,
there was no specific requirement for medical licensure in China. Any
medical graduate with medical |

U of Chicago, both state boards had accepted such explain letter.
best as you said do have a letter for your med school dean's office to
secure it.
