forum so I would like to share some of my thoughts here---希望前辈赐教。
1) For CMGs, it seems that FM is even harder than IM. FM looks more on
graduation year and hands on USCE but much less research experience than IM.
Do you agree or not? Why?
2) Do you suggest CMGs who apply IM to use FM as a backup? Why or why not?
3) What should old CMGs do to increase their chance for FM? |

后也可以做家庭医生。 |

发帖数: 1451 | 3 I think so. I searched a lot programs for family practice and most of them
have very strict cut-off year from graduation and even though you graduated
from medical school within 3 years, you still need to have uninterrupted
clinical experience in US and, ob doesn't count as clinical exp. |

发帖数: 2410 | 4 FM 是xx，情况在改变，各种职能的Professional 都在向FM侵犯，如护士师，三年速成
专职FM，
PA, Phamercist 而正规的Medical school 出来，做FM会有掉价的感觉，虽然有很多限
制，并不
能说明，它不是垃圾，但不幸的是 FM是最适合CMG，尤其是老CMG,
IM.

发帖数: 1451 | 5 为什么FM最适合老IMG?不是FM对毕业年限的要求比IM的还严格吗？很多IMprogram都还
只是说最好5年，或者10年之内，我看FM动辄就必须三年以内，还得之间不能有间断，
即使毕业三年，三年内你也的在medical field呆着 。 |

业8年了。
