A step further but not there yet. No appropriate punishment was proposed
what-so-ever. And the apology is only from the dean level who is only on
behalf of the chancellor, instead of the chancellor himself.
Such a apology won't prevent any other similar events, and, very likely,
will work as a protective shell for ones who did similar things in the
future if everything remains in such a verbal level. Fire the one who
did that and have a public apology from the president. It is the way and
the only way to solve the problem and prevent similar things from
repeatedly-happening.
