if you work around Grand Central, it would not make much sense at all.
During rush hours, the express train could take you from Flushing to Grand
Central in only 23 mins, much quicker than taking the LIRR and then take 1
to Time Sq and then transfer to S. Not to mention the additional cost of
subway fare + $200 LIRR monthly pass.
