我的情况是这样：
我想买一个Single family house，大概能接受500k到600k的价格
我在曼哈顿上班，老婆在法拉盛上班，我可以做火车上班，时间长点短点都无所谓
不过老婆开车去法拉盛，所以希望房子的地点距离法拉盛开车比较方便，也别太远，不
然开车挺辛苦的
我们目前没有小孩，但是考虑到搬一次家太麻烦，所以买这个房子就打算长住了
所以最好是好点的学区，以后总得有小孩是吧。。
能不能劳烦大家给推荐几个zip code我去找找
另外有没有合适的Broker也顺便推荐一下？

Port Washington LIRR to Flushing & Penn Station
Floral Park & Bellerrose - LIRR & bus (need 1 transfer to Flushing)
New Hyde Park & Garden City near Jericho Turnpike - LIRR & also bus (w
transfer to Flushing)
Great Neck (South of Northern Blvd) - bus to Flushing (Note: probably not
consider walkable to LIRR for daily commute). Many coops near the LIRR
station.
Bayside, Little Neck, & Douglaston if you are willing to go for very small
and old houses.
Take a look on Redfin. They have all the sale info on a researchable
map. Their agents are not bad as well.
If your wife can just drive and don't need the bus, take a look at Stewart
Manor as well.

LIE, and there is no way around it.

Their high schools are not as high as Jericho or GNS, but are deemed decent.

my house @ little neck, tax is about 1.5%. i think that s quite a lot. oh
well, for me it is a burden.

BTW, just because a school is highly rated, it does not necessary mean that
is the school best fit for your child.

As long as those are working, it should be fine. Probably very packed buses.
