发帖数: 355 | 1 几个礼拜前申请了一家非常大的医院，今天接到通知说人家不要我，感觉有点沮丧。其
实并不意外，因为面试完就感觉有点糟糕。
事后回忆了一下，面试涉及到了很多问题，比如说给药了什么的，还有一些基本的
procedure,比如说插FC,NGT之类的，这些每天都要干的到还好说。我是卡在一个关于
UNION的问题上。问题是“如果UNION决定罢工，给你打电话让你call sick，你怎么办
？” 我当时就有点傻了，因为从来没考虑过累死的问题。
我的回答大概是“The purpose of joining union is to let nurses stand together
and become stronger. So, if i was in this situation, i would follow union's
instruction. because it is also a team work.” 唉，现在想想，俺真是白痴呀。
俺应该focus on patients' safety yah safety...... |

个人离开学校跑到川菜馆子干掉一整个水煮肉，一份夫妻肺片，和两碗米饭。现在肚子
很饱，心情很好：-）））
meanwhile，你干吗鄙视工会？工会是替咱们说话的，要支持，要爱护。
该被鄙视的是ADMINISTRATION。回答完这个问题以后，我问面试官为什么要问我这种问
题，他说工会正策划罢工，ADMINISTRATION在和工会NEGOTIATION。所以当时我就觉得
我的回答大大的不妙。如果是工会的领导问我这个问题，我这么回答，那就太完美了。
可惜面世我的是医院管理层的。 |

the union asks you the same question you will fail again, and then you will
be totally confused. The right answer follows:
If union has made a formal decision to go for a strike, I will stand with
the union because that's what I have promised when I joined it. But I won't
call sick.
This question is all about ETHICS. You have to be sick to call sick. If
you lie this time, you will be lying next time for some other "im |

发帖数: 355 | 11 面试我的是unit director,不是union的人。算是ADMINISTRATION。在UNION这道题之前
已经问过一个问题"Under what kind of situation will you call sick?". my
answer is "i will call for absence only under two situations. one is that i
really get sick. another one is if something happens to my family. i would
tell the truth to administration, i think they can understand me."
而在union这道题里，面试者说的是“call sick”我从头到尾回答的都是“call for
absence”.
我自己总结没有被录取的原因：一个是经验；我才1.75年的经验，在护士这个行业来说
实在是太短了。第二个是应征的实在太多了，如果不是托人帮忙送了简历，我可能连面
试的机会都没有。
