do not really know what a sales at bloomberg does.
i work in a rate group and here personally i feel you learn the most from
the quant side. |

it is better to be a quant, or better yet, be a professor ... but when it
comes to money making, then it is hard to say.

this position, but not sure about what it eactly do and noway to get
prepared even for the resume.

and you have to look at the long term payoff. knowing deeper details about
the products gives you a huge advantage whatever you do later on. i guess
that is why many guys started from our quant desk are doing very well in
their current roles
anyway my personal suggestion is do not overlook quantitative skills, have a
long term view, take time to climb a long ramp instead of looking for
shortcuts |
