snowy out. Can't really think of another reason to buy a treadmill.:)

type Chinese).
If I were going to buy a treadmill, these factors will be what I should
consider:
1. softness of the surface. this should be the first to consider. I would
like treadmills with a hanging belt, instead of a belt on a solid surface.
2. space between arms should be big. I like treadmills with a wide belt, so
I don't feel very confined and bored quickly.
3. it would be nice if it has several modes, such as rand |

won't make much difference what you
get. It's gonna be crap anyway. If you ever change your mind, check out this:

I used to own a $400 treadmill seven years ago
when I was in mid-west. I put it in the basement.
I understand why I need to have a treadmill at home
at that time. But the motor was so noisy, so I gave it away
once I moved to CA.
I like Life Fitness at the gym I go, but they are all commercial
grade that's very expensive.

嗯，网上看了一下，也知道$500预算买不到gym quality得。不过一周3，4次，一次
30min-1小时的话，也用不到那么高级的。。。

residential floors in NA are wood floors.

I like the woodway because the surface is soft.
for Mercury H, the pace between arms is 17", too small, especially after I
enjoyed outdoor running. Desmo H is wider, 22", should be better.
you can try to find trails around your place and run there. don't have to
run inside your neighborhood. or to be safe, run in the morning. |
