exceptional speedy recovery for a old guy like me I'd attribute to
distance running.
I'm going to run with folks I trained with, aiming to have a GREAT TIME
rather than best (running) time. Will write a report afterward.

through the first 10K, 28:03 (Ryan Hall has never even run a 10K that fast on track!), and Ryan is trailing by more than a minute.

than that. Hope it's just a bad day. He would have zero chance at Chicago
against Wanjiru et al if he goes in with this kind of shape.

One thing I don't like about Ryan Hall is that he is not a warrior like Prefontaine -- he would rather run his own pace than trying to stay with the leaders at all time - perhaps a smart strategy a lot of times, but is still chicken shit.:)
