• Proper floor planning according to timing and power requirement
• Resolving placement and routing congestion issues
• Providing detailed feedback to the RTL team on opportunities for
improvement of the micro-architecture to aid implementation
• Clock tree synthesis
• Power grid implementation
• Power IR drop analysis
• Close timing in block and top level with predictable results and
schedule
• Run RC extraction and close timing based on post layout netlist
• Finish drc, lvs on the place and route block and resolve drc and lvs
related issues
• Write automation script to enable repeatable P&R process
• Write technical documentation

Job Description:
System z Software Development organization (in CSTL) is seeking software
engineers taking the responsibilities for design, development and test of
zOS and other System z software products. This team is an integral part of
the STG System z global team and support System z expansion and growth in
the China market.
zOS XML team is to design, implement and test functional enhancements for
the established zOS XML System Services. XML System Services is a functional
component of zOS and contains an XML parser intended for use by system
components, middleware and applications. XML team aims to provide a reliable
, serviceable and high-performance XML engine for z/OS and other enterprise
business applications. The team also provides quality services and
innovative solutions to support STG System z global strategy.
