1. Software Quality Engineer (Based in Santa Clara, California)
Description
Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop,
apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops,
modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test
standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist
in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure
correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends
corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of
problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of
programming languages, systems, and computation software.
In this position, you will be working as part of a team that is responsible
for validating the Intel compilers. Your responsibilities will include but
not be limited to:
-Analyzing defects in Intel compilers
-Developing and automating build and test infrastructure
-Developing tools and methodologies to improve validation processes
-Enabling new platforms
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered
for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant previous job/
internship and/or school/research experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a BS degree or a MS degree in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, or other science/engineering related field.
The candidate must have at least 6+ months of industry or academic
experience in the following areas and skill sets:
- Developing and debugging software, implementing, writing code, QA, testing
, validation, etc.
- Automating processes, (build process automation, test process automation,
any scripts to automate manual processes).
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum partial or full participation in at least one project where you
performed the following:
- Followed software development life cycle
- Requirements gathering, use case definition
- Software design
- Creation and/or execution of test plans
- Agile methodologies welcome
- Software quality assurance methodologies
Preferred skills and experience:
Minimum 1 years of Windows* Internals OS (preferred) or Linux* Internals OS
At least 1 years of programming in the following languages: PERL (preferred)
or C, C++ or C#. |
