x***c 发帖数: 17 | 1 help a! I know it's easy, 5555
sign test Ho: p=0.5
N=32
2-sided
alpha=0.05
What's the power if true probability is 0.74?
I calculated in this way: because alpha=0.05 for two sided, so I get the
critical value k=10, so under the hypothesis p=0.74, I calculate the
probability S<=10.
I know this is wrong. Anybody can tell me the way to do power calculation?
thanks! | i****t 发帖数: 58 | 2 You can try this in R:
1-pbinom (qbinom(0.975,32,0.5)-1),32,0.74) + pbinom ((n - qbinom(0.975,32,0.
387 | 5 you can also use normal approximation. Depends on your accuracy, but this
one is kind of far away. u will get 0.8 from approximation, while 0.69 from
exact. |
