like John Tukey and Geffory Watson. But Tukey and Watson never got along till
both of them passed away. Their internal conflict led to the final collapse of
this premium program in early 90s.
Now the statistical components are scattered around the Princeton campus.
Recently they are making effort trying to re-build the program with a very
successful recruitment of Fan Jianqing, a COPSS winner.
