1. Complete kill off the economy with extremely high interest rate. Then
restart. This was done in 1980.
2. Make an overnight inflation of 100% or more, i.e, split one $ to two $
for US citizens, use the extra-printed money pay off all the foreign debts. Then restart.
Both are shock and awe operations.
