(Reuters) - The euro zone's bailout fund said on Sunday that it did not buy
its own bonds last week, denying a British newspaper report that it spent
more than 100 million euros ($137 million) to cover a shortfall of demand.
Britain's Sunday Telegraph said that the EFSF had to step in after banks
leading the deal were only able to find about 2.7 billion euros of outside
demand. The 10-year bond sale raised 3 billion euros last Monday.
"The EFSF did not buy its own bonds and the book was 3 billion euros," an
EFSF spokesman said, referring to the 3 billion euros raised in last Monday'
s 10-year bond issue.
Top officials of the EFSF have said the modest 3 billion euro issue was a
reflection of the unstable market conditions.
EFSF head Klaus Regling told the Financial Times on Friday that market
upheaval had made it difficult to leverage the fund to the planned 1
trillion euros. |

one day stocks soared big time because of a report that china was going to
offer help. when the report that china would not help came out, the market
continued to go up.

谁也不会和钱过不去，如果把钱丢到水里，大部分人也不会乐意。
不管政治上如果耍把戏，如何换总理，国债收益率才能真正反映市场的信心。 |

为啥没有新型国家肯为欧债出钱。
大家不是傻子，除非欧洲央行自己出钱买，压低意大利国债收益率。就算这样，也只能
掩盖一两天。

(European Financial Stability Facility, 简称EFSF)上周发行的债券成本较高，而
且需求十分低迷，表明以该基金的现状，其支撑欧洲国债市场的能力有限。
穆迪表示，由于EFSF的杠杆化计划仍存在不确定性，投资者对EFSF上周发行的30亿欧元
债券认购兴趣索然。
穆迪表示，考虑到对爱尔兰、葡萄牙和希腊的救助承诺，EFSF现有的贷款能力约为2,
660亿欧元，EFSF实质上无法支撑起欧元区规模庞大的国债市场。
不过，穆迪表示，形势的发展使人质疑EFSF以低成本在市场融资的能力；而如果这一能
力遭到破坏，EFSF这一稳定主权债务价格的工具以及当前欧元区支持机制最终能否成功
也将令人怀疑。 |
