in a local swimming club for kids. One month ago, when he first swim in the
try out, he can only swim 32 seconds for 25 yards. As of today, he can swim
21 seconds which is the RED time for his age( BLUE time is 17 seconds). I
don't know how fast can he go if he continues to improve his breathing and
kicking skills both I think having quite some rooms to improve. |

我记得去年儿子8月份是26秒,当时6岁2个月,12月游到19秒,今年一月到达17秒
然后再没前进过.
现在蝶泳进步蛮大,25YARD能游22秒.很稳定.

official swim meet, he swam 17.9 sec for 25 Y free style and 21.3 sec for
backstroke. His freestyle is approaching BLUE time which is 17.6 sec, and
his back stroke is already at BLUE time which is 21.6 sec. His back stroke
was 38 sec just three weeks ago. I taught him about how to keep streamline
and kick harder, and WOA, he improved his time by a whopping 17 seconds in
three weeks. When his coach first assigned him to swim bac

club training, but after that, when I try to teach him to improve his jump
start, his breathing, his stroke, he just swam away and almost never
listened to me.

is why it is very important to have someone at similar level or higher to
practice together...
