IMHO, Paul asks the Corithians to "行 合 宜 的 事 、 得 以 殷 勤 服 事 主".
marry or not, it is for 殷 勤 服 事 主.
You can read the bible study link I posted earlier for the historical
context -- why Paul is writing to the Corithians, and then read thru the
whole letter from chap 1. The letter addresses practical issues in Christian
life. Taking verses out of context could be misleading.

particular verses are about marrying or not for Lord's purpose.

四、背景：
哥林多約有25萬自由人，40萬奴隸，這城在主前146年被羅馬所毀。主前42年，凱撒派
人重建哥林多。奧古斯都定哥林多為亞該亞省首府。哥林多位於哥林多地峽口，此處有
兩個港口，東為堅革哩(V.18)，西為哩開翁。位居海路和陸路交通要道，為附近商品的
轉運中心。且以產銅和製造銅器出名。另外陶器、染料、玻璃、燈是很有名的。他們喜
愛希臘哲學，推崇智慧。哥林多也包含各樣的人種、文化和宗教。哥林多有12座神廟，
愛神(Aphrodite)廟有廟妓的制度，依據古代地理學家史特堡(Strabo)，說愛神廟蓄有
一千名神妓。廟妓制度的確是影響當日的風俗。猶太人也建了會堂。因為供奉愛神的緣
故，使得淫風更盛。希臘文中哥林多人是放蕩之人的意思(使徒行傳18章)。教會和信徒
處於這種環境當中，難免受到異教習俗的影響。
哥林多教會是保羅創立的(4：15)。徒十八章，保羅第二次傳道到哥林多時，與一對猶
太人夫婦亞居拉和百基拉同住，他們都以織帳篷為業的。他們在會堂，針對猶太人和希
利尼人中展開傳道工作。後猶太人抗拒譭謗，保羅退出會堂，在猶士都的家，開始獨立
福音事工。他在哥林多一年六個月。新的總督迦流上任，猶太人在他面前告保羅。迦流
以公正羅馬法律，不理這一樁案件，所以保羅在哥林多順利完成他的使命。當他離開時
，教會已經相當穩固，信徒大部分是外邦人，有貴族，但大部分是平民和奴隸，也有小
部分猶太人。保羅之後，亞歷山太的猶太人，亞波羅到，他能言善辯，給這個教會帶來
很大的福氣(2:12)。
五、內容：
保羅根據福音真道原則：十字架道理、榮神益人和愛的矯正和教導混亂問題。按當時書信體而寫，條理分明，語氣溫順。全書只有(4：6 – 13)是信中罕見諷刺語氣寫的。

Chap 7
二、解釋：
論婚姻
vv. 1-7 希臘的思想輕視肉體；因此任意處理身體，讓肉慾完全發洩。
v. 1 保羅雖然說一個男人能夠不結婚倒是好的（參創2：18），但是他並不禁慾（參西
2：20-23、提前4：1-5）。事實上，婚姻是上帝所設立的，絕對神聖，男女借著婚姻制
度而結合是上帝所喜悅的。哥林多信徒當中有人主張：一個完全的基督徒必須拋棄物質
拒絕嫁娶（初代教會有兩種思想是禁慾的，一為愛色尼派，另一派是諾斯底主義，而哥
林多教會有諾斯底主義之思想，見Conzelmann, p. 115引Schmithal, Gnoticism in
Corinth ）。保羅之所以主張獨身是因他相信主第二次再來迫在眉睫；不可讓地上的牽
制及物質形成阻礙。要把一切精力集中預備基督再來。
v.2 保羅要我們忠實的面對自己的需要，選擇最合乎自己的生活方式，而不是為了信仰
來勉強禁慾以致把自己置於試探中。
vv 3-7 夫妻之間要互相尊重，凡事替另一半著想，希望精神與肉體雙方都得到滿足。
除非是為了專心祈禱而分房，這須雙方同意，並且短時間內要重新恢復夫妻生活。不該
無故的不肯盡夫妻同居應有的本分。
v.7 保羅可能結過婚：（1）他是一個在律法和遺傳上沒失職；猶太人法典米示拿（
Mishnah 6:6）說：猶太人必須結婚生子。凡不結婚沒有兒女的，犯破壞上帝命令的罪(
參考Josephus, Ant. 18:21)。（2）保羅是公會成員（徒26：10）。三合林成員必須是
結婚的人。可能保羅的妻子已過世或在他成為基督徒後離開他（梁家麟，p. 178）。一
個有妻室的人，不可能像保羅東奔西跑 (Barclay, p. 68)。
論獨身
vv. 8-9 一個人能否守獨身，全在乎上帝給各人的恩賜而定。在太19:10-11當門徒問耶
穌有關獨身的問題時，耶穌回答說︰「這話不是人都能領受的，惟獨賜給誰，誰才能領
受」。因為每個人都從上帝領受不同的恩賜，而實踐信仰的第一步，就是服從上帝的命
令。保羅認為時代即將結束，已婚的人將受到更多的苦難，因此未婚者或是寡婦最好保
持現況；不過不要招致試探，如果本性多情最好結婚。可見保羅的意見與耶穌的教導是
一致的。
論離婚
v. 10-11已婚的人，保羅禁止離婚（可十9；路十六18），如果夫婦離異便不可再婚。
哥林多把標準提高以免放浪形骸生活進入教會。主的命令是指馬太19:3-9耶穌有關休妻
的教導，祂說：「摩西准許你們休妻，是因為你們心腸太硬；但在創世之初並不是這樣
的。」婚約含有與上帝立約之意，因此丈夫不可以離開妻子；離婚不是上帝原來的旨意
。 然而在今天離婚率超過50%的時代，我們如何保持這樣的信念呢？其實婚姻 雖然不
是誡命，卻是人生大事，不可不慎，如果男女雙方在婚前花些時間思考，並接受婚前輔
導，做好心理準備再結婚，相信可降低一定程度的磨擦。若是不幸雙方真的不能復和，
而以離婚收場，其實在身心靈都已經付出嚴重的代價，因此做為基督徒我們要學習接納
而不是論斷他們。
論與非信徒之間的婚姻
v. 12-16.信徒與非信徒的婚姻因耶穌沒吩咐，保羅給個人判斷。哥林多有人宣稱信徒
不可和非信徒結婚，夫婦中有一人非基督徒兩人必須分開。Tertullian描寫一非基督徒
丈夫向基督徒妻子發怒，因為『探訪弟兄她從這一街到那一街，走進別的男人的屋子，
…貧窮的人。..他不許她參加深夜集會及逾越節羔羊聖會，…不許她入監獄，吻殉道者
桎梏，甚至與弟兄聖潔平安接吻。外邦人對基督教控訴是分裂家庭（彼前4：15）。哥
林多信徒有一種錯誤的觀念，以為他們信了主以後，若是跟不信主的丈夫或妻子過夫婦
的生活，會使他們成為不聖潔，所以有人想要離婚。保羅強調這是非基督徒進入了恩典
之途，不信主的配偶將因信主的一方蒙主悅納，故夫妻之間當於主內和睦相處。
守住蒙召時的身分
vv.17-24 保羅引用「割禮」和「奴僕」兩個例子說明︰信仰與屬世的身分無關，任何
人無論貧賤或已婚未婚、或主人奴隸都不影響我們成為天國的子民。「蒙召」指信徒蒙
上帝選召，是屬靈生命的更新，不是屬世地位的改變。所以蒙召的時候是什麼身分，仍
該守住那身分，無須作不必要的更動。重要的是我們是否遵行上帝的話語。因為信仰不
是讓我們離開舊有的生活的環境，而是讓我們在原有的生活環境裡，彰顯上帝的恩典。
保羅提醒奴僕，不要為身份憂慮，奴僕雖然身體不自由，卻不影響心靈的自由，無礙於
信仰。作奴僕的同樣可以事奉上帝，如自由人一般都是基督的奴僕，是基督用重價買回
來的。但也不要因為信了主，就以為身份改變了，以此為借口造成教會的緊張。
獨身和寡居的問題
v. 25 初代教會有關耶穌的嘉言錄（v.10、11：23-25、徒20：35）。
v. 26 目前處境的艱難：保羅對末日來臨(v.29、31)。
vv. 27-35 保羅個人傾向獨身，他認為追求末世當減輕今世的羈絆，婚姻與家庭將拖累
對主的事工。在他寫信給哥林多教會的時候，一再強調守獨身是他個人的意見，他相信
基督馬上就要來了，各人應當盡量把世事放一邊，集中精力，準備主的再來。在這種狀
況下獨身比較好，能專心侍奉主，不能自制的就應結婚。保羅把婚姻視作次好的事，因
他相信末日將會發生大災難，所以婚姻最好是維持原狀，不要有改變的念頭。他的目的
不是要加重信徒的負擔，而是希望他們做得合宜，並且為主完全奉獻自己，毫無保留。
但是後來他寫信給以弗所教會時，就完全改變了，他把夫婦的關係作為基督與教會關係
的象徵（弗5：22-26）。
vv.36-38當時的風俗男女同處一室，甚至同睡一床，卻無肉體關係。這是一種靈性生活
的操練，超越肉體的誘惑，在這種關係中，女的被稱為那男人的童女。有些男女在結婚
時，即約定絕對守貞，沒有性生活，全心於靈性生活。這是人性的一大考驗。保羅說：
在這種境況下能保守自己就這樣做；如果嘗試後發現無法忍受的可結婚（Barclay, p.
74）。保羅針對哥林多教會中有人已經訂婚，後來想專心傳道，或想過聖潔的生活，而
不願意結婚的，最後又耐不住慾望，而發生性行為的。保羅勸勉他們最好結婚。
vv. 39-40保羅說明婚姻的關係只有死亡才結束。寡婦再婚是許可的，但如果能夠守節
不嫁更為有福。

whatever is suitable to better serve the Lord. Married couple w/o 性生活,
may subject to temptation (as says in Chap 7) and thus defeat the main
purpose.
