高流量的比如K&N，有过滤效果不好的潜在危险。其实最多也就几hp（小于5）的差别。
保时捷的NA engine已经压榨的很厉害了。如果换intake还能提高几HP，保时捷自己就做了。
别说保时捷了，G35/350z的OEM intake经过dyno测试，没有after market能超过的。 |

gas) is still the same.
you got the wrong idea. power is not made by making the mixture richer thru
an ECU remap. the intention of installing better intake/filter is to improve
airflow. more air means the injectors will correspondingly inject more fuel
as dictated by the fuel injection map. more fuel burnt in the same amount
of time means more power. the reason said intake/filter won't work is
because they don't provide

而且引擎管理程序需要的map也不是光是喷油就好了
点火也要有map，进气控流阀也要有map，VVT也要有map，VVL也要有map……
比方说，如果你改了进气，但是并没有针对新的进气优化VarioCam Plus的
那你完全可能得到副效果
总之，Porsche DFI引擎可能算当前最复杂的引擎了，DI，VVT，VVL……
所有已知的技术手段几乎一应俱全，要改它没有一定的水平，不去全面的大动干戈
想仅仅改改进气就能有明显提高，简直是根本不可能的事情……

如果能retro-fit的话，是个保险的选择
要么就去问问那些专业的Porsche改装厂，用他们的全套方案，那样会有效果
（但是性价比方面恐怕就……）

出来的关键, 去参加几个DE感受一下吧.
千万别听人鼓吹什么提升空间,烂车提升空间才大,
一个破civic恨不能砸几十k去改,改出来还是个civic.

By the way, for ECU
For example, before GAIC ECU flash, my Cayman S' HP line is kind flat, until 4000 rpm, then the Hp will go up and up....
after the ECU flash, Hp increase much more (40 hp) before 4000 rmp (because porsche limited the performance), and did increase 5 hp at max Hp.

and Porsche offer Chrono Sport, which gives driver 2 kind of throttle responses.
Some people say, with "Sport" throttle Map, there is more Hp and car is faster.
Hoever, some people say, with "Sport" throttle map, it will make you feel the car is fast, but they are NOT.
my personal experience is when i am with "Sport" throttle, the gas paddle is lighter, and by giving same amount of gas, the rpm goes higher (from 3K to 4K).

whether to tune a car depends on which factor is the bottleneck, car or
driving skill.
if you got a civic, probably it's the car that limits your performance.
but for a '09 Carrera S, I bet it won't be the case.

ppl either applied too much oil after clean, or did not allow
plenty of time for it to dry before put it in.
I used 2 kn filters, they are a little bit louder, that's about it.

911 is really hard to drive, there are several times that i have lost control (loos grip at rear), because there were sand on the road.
that is why i switch to mid-engine, it has much much better handeling.

you have to check it out before putting it on.
Also some sensors are more sensitive to the oil.

i have re-oiled my K&N air filter (not a good idea, I should not have done that)
I have purched the re-oil kit, (cleaner + oil)
Step 1, apply the cleaner on the air filter (wait 5-10 min for cleaner get
into the filter)
Step 2, use water to wash out the old oil and cleaner
Step 3 (very important),
set the filter for at least 3-4 days to let it dry out (natrual).
(ps: i left it in
