The SciFi books that I'd recommend to beginners:
Foundation Trilogy (by Issac Asimov)
-- Classical, legendary series in the whole sci fi history
Ender's Game (by Orson Scott Card)
-- Well written stories. Don't read plot spoilers before you
begin this book.
Dune (by Frank Herbert)
-- Needs your attention and focus when reading. You have to
keep thinking deep all the time.
A Fire upon the Deep (by Vernor Vinge)
-- Another well written story. Gives you a big sense of wonder.
Ringworld (by Larry Niven)
-- Another big sense of wonder. And a disturbing puzzlement
about what on earth "luck" is.
Childhood's End (by Arthur Clarke)
-- Did I mention this book before? Slow beginning, lousy
action scenes, with breath-takingly fatastic ending. The
ending well worths your patience of reading the first 2/3

正想找些轻松的科幻小说来读读呢。我不太喜欢技术性、科学术语太强的小说，偏爱情
节吸引人和刻画人物心理的小说。
我比较喜欢 Michael Crichton 的书，看过他的 Congo, Sphere,State of Fear.看
Sphere 的时候吓得夜里睡不着觉，觉得他对环境氛围的营造很厉害，很容易被带入书
