numerous documents in a language other than English and asked me to submit
the foerign docuemnts along with a cerfitied English translation. I actually
did translated my Chinese publications' abstracts, but looks like he was
confused... I don't know... probably, I should not provded the Chinese
version in the first place?
In this case, can I use the template below:
Certificate of the Translation
I hereby certify that I am fluent with both English and Chinese. I
translated Chinese to English. The translation is true and accurate to the
best of my knowledge and ability.

慎重点的话，找办学位公证的地儿。其他翻译，加上下面那个Certificate of the
Translation，需要找人签名。

发帖数: 767 | 4 I was so sad when I got the message about RFE. We only get one opportunity
to submit what is missing... so, if I don't meet the requirements again, my
case will be denied.
I tried google translator, but it did not come out nicely.
In addition, I printed the list of citations from Googlescholar, and now
realize that since my papers were cited by people in various languages, I
may have to provide the English translation for any foreign languages on the
list too, right? ... fortunately, I've found some friends familiar with
those languges. They just totally don't like what Google translator
generates, but did the translation on their own. so I think I just go ahead
to provide the certified English translation for those non-English languages
too, right? should I pay attention to anything in the process?

发帖数: 767 | 6 really? the template was from an I-485 petitioner who used it for the
marriage certificate translation and notarization. I think if it works for I
-485, it should work for I-140...
The RFE letter says: “The translator must certify that he/she is competent
to perform the translation and that the translation is accurate.
Translations submitted without the relating foreign document are not
acceptable.”

发帖数: 767 | 13 谢谢谢谢，不过事已至此，我都已经找了四位外国朋友昨天帮着翻译，跑去公证，忙活
了一天，所以明天准备就这么交了。既然IO是先fax给我的，那我就先fax给他，然后再
寄走。fax里说让我用移民局给的信封“please use the enclosed envelope to mail
additional evidence request back to this office”，但我还没有收到他们的mail
啊，可不可以就根据fax里说的mail的信封上“mark the envelope with a blue
stripe on the end and write Premium RFE on the envelope..."这样寄走？
那个"blue stripe on the end" 是什么意思，怎么操作啊？

正了，给我scan过来的。
中间还是有很多email来来去去的，开始也没想到这么麻烦人家。

IO's name is kinda confidential, so people don't put it here, right? |
