发帖数: 821 | 1 Only recently, I began exploring the outside world away from the treadmill.
Now I found out that I could run longer distances on trails and streets. You
know why? It's much less boring.
Previously, most if not all of my training are on treadmills due to either
warm weather outside or my work schedule. Thanks for the fantastic golden
California weather, I can run outside even in November. (I moved here a year
ago from the cold east coast, hehe) I can't help but easily run 8+ miles

当然个人情况不一样吧。
还有。。在北方也可以Nov跑啊。

coastline or at a natural reserve is a very enjoyable experience. I have
seen dolphins, a rattle snake, deers, many lizzards big and small, and
other animals while running in nature. I also see a lot of people and I was
hit by a golf ball once (on my chest, but no major damage). | w*******e

treadmill is not bad in the sense that, first, you don't have to stop for
traffic light, second, you can have perfect speed control, third, you can
have instant hydration handy, four, it is weather proof, even in california,

together, since it is far from my place. Do you run your long run on Sunday?
I will be traveling to New Orleans this weekend, we can plan something next

发帖数: 10018 | 11 Sure, usually i ran long run on Sunday morning.
My marathon training starts next week. I will probably run 13-15 miles next
weekend.
I run quite slow now, need to watch out for my IT band. And my aerobic
capability is low. Today I carefully ran 8 miles in 77 minutes with 150HR.
The good news is NO sign of discomfort in my IT band so far.
