experience is extremely strong and not routine at all.

they are basically stuck processing those RFE responses. Most of the
applications could be pre-adjudicated before the June RFE fiasco. But they
have to basically go back and pre-adjudicate these applications again once
the RFE responses are received. So, they undid whatever they have done with
the applications while the dates were held back for so many months. As NSC

以此勉励一下pending六个月以上的老战友们
感觉，infopass没啥用，service request用处也不大，尤其在你的file还在security
check的时候。
485受理之后，首先是FBI那边做背景调查，其中的一步name check时间差别最大。如果
你运气好，一个星期之内就可以结束背景调查，返回service center那边，assign
adjudicator, 再过1-3个月,你就可以获批。如果运气不够好，就会在name check上卡
六个月或更久，我就被卡了接近六个月。通过背景调查后，返回service center,
assign adjudicator, 再过1-3个月,你就可以获批。
只要你还在security check那一步，任何催绿办法都没用，因为最多是打到service
center，然后他们就说你的case被held了，无能为力。当然，99%的FBI背景调查都能在
6个月以内结束。

发帖数: 35 | 13 本人2011年4月递交i140(EB2/NIW)，顺利批准。本打算老老实实等排期。去年老板帮忙
，于2013年11月递交i140（EB1b）,12月递交i485和EAD/AP申请。2014年1月i140批下，
当月打指纹，2月收到EAD/AP。4月份收到RFE，看完信才知移民局的官员犯浑以为我是
EB2，要我提交材料证明我排期当前。于是让律师整理材料后于4月25日递交RFE材料。
然后就是石沉大海。
在9月之前的4个月里，找了一个议员，还自己发了E-Request和打电话给USCIS询问，另
外还求律师想办法，用尽各种办法。得到的答复就是still under review。后来律师通
过一个专线电话（可能律师才有资格用的，我不清楚是什么号码）询问，被告知是把我
的case归到EB2了，根本没人理了。于是我把律师的信件打印，外加其他的证据（证明
我的case处理时间超期），重新找了另外一个议员，请他们明确告诉USCIS在我的case
里的失误，并要求他们尽快纠正失误，批准我的case。该议员办公室很卖力，很快就发

发帖数: 668 | 21 我EB1A的485已交两个月了，指纹也打了半个月了。但5月1号是在学校的最后一天。至
今还没有找到新的工作。很害怕NSC来个RFE或EVL什么的。所以想在5月1号再交一个NIW
-based I485 (由于5月大放水，也就是5月1号这天，我NIW的priority date become
current)。
我的想法是这样的。EB1A-I485从递交到Adjudication时间较短，可以用来找工作的时
间较紧。万一RFE或EVL来时还没找到工作，EB1A-I485被拒，还可以用NIW-485 pending
period维持身份。我觉得NIW-I485从递交到Adjudication时间较长，就有更多的时间
找工作，这是我递交NIW-I485的主要动机。那就是争取时间，即使是多花$1070。由于
我没有什么别的依靠，比如美国出生的小孩，或有工作的配偶什么的，我觉得多花$
1070多一条路是值得的。
当然我也害怕再交一个485会不会画蛇添足？因为5月２号以后学校会通知移民局把我明
年才到期的H1B取消掉。我怕NIW-I485和学校的H1B取消通知同时到达移民局，会反倒招

点用也没有。有两个问题请教各位：
1. 最近一次的SR的回复是Our records show that your I485 is currently pending

date at this time. 啥叫pending adjudication？从以上信息能够得到现在走到哪步
了么？比如说background check是否clear?
2.LD最近去做了inforpass，告诉副申请人已经background clear。但主申请人信息怎
么都不肯透露。请问有说法说主副申请人background check 会一起clear么？三个月前
议员问显示background check没有clear。
TSC这效率真是太赞了.....

4月底infopass一次，tier2 5月15号一次，议员今天回信都说是pending，一点信息也
得不到
infopass 遭遇了上次的老太太，态度极其不好，问他什么时候touch过我的case，name
check background check开始了没有，完成了没有，有没有assign给officer，问什么
都说不知道，只能告诉我pending，反复问，他说了一句name check fine，再问是不是
complete了，她就说问她一千遍也还是pending，他没有信息。
tier2打了2、3次不同的人给我的信息都一样，都说pending，没有进一步信息。 5月
15号问了很久之后，不耐烦地说3月份 under review，然后再问他什么意思，是不是开
始name check， background check了，她就不正面回答。 又说只能告诉我pending

They are currently in the process of undergoing background checks. As soon
as the background checks are completed he and his wife will be scheduled for
their I-485 Interviews.
这个background check的借口真是随便用的。

虽然在据说很靠谱的NSC, 但是依然等了超过八个月, 大概是3,4月的有些RD实在运气欠
佳. 等到六个月的时候, 特别是看到10月份板上大片大片的报绿, 实在无法淡定, SR了
好几次:

虽然在据说很靠谱的NSC, 但是依然等了超过八个月, 大概是3,4月的有些RD实在运气欠
佳. 等到六个月的时候, 特别是看到10月份板上大片大片的报绿, 实在无法淡定, SR了
好几次:

联系了议员，上周收到转发的TSC的如下回复。请帮忙参考有没有什么有用的信息。
貌似强调了很多关于public safety and national security的调查，不知道这是指的
什么内容？是FBI的背景调查还没有结果？

10月SR是pending adjudication, need additional review那个模板
11月sr是pre-adjudicated....那个模板
14O的时候被RFE了并不是完全很顺利
485又等了这么久，命啊！！！！ |
