话说无论在中国还是美国，内部推荐一向相对是条捷径。据说在华尔街，有6０％到7０
％的工作是由推荐而来。试想各位初入行或想跳槽的中国人，由于没有门路和人脉，只

OFFER。请各位大侠指点：
1. Universal Health Service 下的一个附属公司,Data Analyst,薪水是expectation
range的上限，但是不能办H1b。
2. Securus Technologies,一个为监狱系统提供通讯服务的公司，Capacity Planning
Analyst, 薪水差不多，办H1b。
我老公目前博士三年级在读，我打算工作一年左右怀孕生孩子。
第一家公司的offer
1）一直想在医疗行业做数据分析，以后也想往biostatistician方向走。
2）公司里大部分是白人，少数亚裔。
3）面试过程中见到的同事领导，对人很nice。有一个合作团队，可以互相学习。
4）关于不解决身份问题，我天真的想，就用OPT+EXTENSION去工作两年再说。两年后我
变回F2，回家生孩子带孩子，等老公毕业找到工作，我的身份再次转变后重出江湖。
5）关于生孩子的问题，我知道大部分女性都在这个公司工作了10年到15年。我想工作

上过一门web development 课 学习phhp， html，javascript 做网页。 也就是说我有
少量编程基础。 但是我本科是学药学的， 所以我学统计， 计算机都是转行。
现在投简历一个月后， 没有工作经验， 公司面试基本没有， 有学校里招
biostatistician staff的面试， 但是， 一门没有任何经验， 也都不work。
加州有个华人开的data application lab 有data scientist 的培训 是20周，可以远
程视频， 我是不是应该去参加一下这个培训。
还有一个new jersey 华人开的consulting 公司， 说是免费培训 药厂（人一定要在
new jersey）和CRO的SAS programmer 工作， 要签两年合同。 那就要move 到NJ。
我不知道现在刚从学校生统硕士毕业的我该选择哪个？

中国肝移植注册项目（China Liver Transplant Registry）启动于2005年2月，由香港
大学外科学系玛丽医院肝脏疾病研究中心负责中国肝脏移植注册资料库的管理工作。
2008年5月12日，国家卫生部正式授权中国肝移植注册（CLTR）为国家肝脏移植科学注
册系统。至此, CLTR覆盖了全国33个城市的80家肝移植中心。
在过去五年中，CLTR研发并逐步完善了CLTR的数据收集和管理系统; 持续地监测数据的

bioinformatics方兴未艾，缺口大着呢。根本没到饱和的地步。连
biostatistics都没饱和，何况bioinformatics。
2. 大部分bioinformatics在医药公司里面属于技术辅助性工作，这是我的
point。在高校也是和PI合作，没见过专做bioinformatics的人做大医学
类项目PI的。都是帮着人家做。这和biostatistician一样。
我一点都不jealous做这行的，只是羡慕他们工作机会多多了。我说技术辅
助性没有一点贬低的意思，他们的技术别人顶替不了。
3. 没有CS做不好bioinformatics。我从来也没说过
CS=bioinformatics。
4. tenure不等于提升的job security的话，这么多faculty混tenure都
是白痴么？当然了tenured不等于养懒汉了，但是压力小很多了，学校管的
hard money比例高多了。

觉得以后还是想在工业界，但前者感觉挺有名，而且现在对research还有点想法
但公司上班应该就不用压力那么大把

，十分担心是否会被Check, 想向各位打听一下最近签证的情况。我的专业是

可以到一般的生物制药公司做数据分析，起薪比银行平均少1-2万，现在工作也不好找
，俺们公司现在打算把这一块外包到印度，把个10来的人的组砍掉9个只留一个资深的

一个是银行的analyst，sign on bonus 15k，在佛罗里达。没有告诉我绿卡政策，应该

本人现在没有family，也不在乎城市好坏。银行的analyst上升空间比保险的analyst要
大，但是没有保险稳定。完全不知道怎么选，下周一就要给hr最后答复。大家帮我出出
主意分析一下利弊吧，我决定下来之后发面经回报给大家。
