not improve my chance to beat index.
i.e., I am a believer that the vast majority of trading strageties would
lose to index in the long run.
The main reason that I trade instead of doing indexing is due to boredom.
I simply can't handle the boredom otherwise. I not necessarily want to
find a consistent way to beat index since I believe it is very hard. |

almost all my NL experience comes from tournaments), I think boredom is not
less of a factor in NL. In limit, you get constant action, in NL, you wait
patiently for big action. I read somewhere someone described NL as "hours of
dull boredom followed by moments of sheer terror". I actually agree with
that.
Now I listen to music when playing, so don't feel as bored as before and my
result actually improves.

所谓引用致敬，古代大概就叫用典，其实是很有意思很有趣味的事儿。不过很多时候引
用致敬和抄袭之间确实不一定有一条fine line。像即使是朴树原版的《那些花儿》，
作为灵感来源的pete seeger原作若非那么出名，还就真不好说了。
另外像学术文章引用都是要严格指明的。但是艺术作品就不一定了。将引用部分自然的
融入作品，本身就是一种艺术情趣。浅白的说，比如熟悉被引用的对象的人看到巧妙引
用的作品，也会感到亲切和有趣。
当然了，我也是认为，这种暗引尽量不要只单独，要不难免会瓜田李下。我的意思就是
说要引用就把引用对象和这个引用对象的来源都包含进来。这样比较稳妥，不容易造成
误会。
说几个音乐上的例子。不包括hiphop之类的sample手段。
一种是引用歌词，同时直接点名原作。这就相当于是直接告诉你这段词是引用了。比如
“妈妈教我一支歌，没有共产党就没有新中国”，或者“午夜里的旋律一直重复著那首
歌 Will you still love me tomorrow”

is pushed into this activity, the enjoyment she is rewarded might not be
sufficient to overcome the boredom those repetitive practices bring. IMO,
you probably don't want to get your kid into playing violin if she doesn't
want to, or at least wait till she is older when she is capable of handling
more repetition and delayed gratification.

that is a sign of good memory (good brain quality :-)), if he doesn't know
because he is not familiar with it, he or his parents shouldn't feel bad
about it
The most important thing is the way of thinking. how to research on a
subject, how to think critically/independently/creatively.
Also practicing piano is more about teaching kid patience and tolerance for

，超过ceiling的部分测不出来了；我们没当回事；自打开始上学就不停被老师骚扰，
今天上课插嘴，明天和别人说话，不胜其烦。我们真是十八般武艺全用尽了，老师的抱
怨还是不见减少。终于我们决定找儿童心理医生看看怎么对付这娃。结果人家又用老版
的某iq测试测了一遍，据说可以测出超过ceiling的那部分，结果又爆表了。。。就不
举别的栗子了，不是来bso的。
总之这个心理学家自己家有两个gt娃，都是homeschool的。她一开始极力想劝我们
homeschool，看我们实在负担不起也就作罢了。她举了很多数据和研究来教育我们娃一
方面先进，另一方肯定是有代价的！ gt娃的exacutive function skill会一直不成熟
于正常同龄人，低龄2-4岁，同理，低智商娃也是这个情况。但这个exacutive
function skill会最终在青春期左右长上来，追成和正常智商儿童一样。这也是她觉得
我娃需要homeschool的原因，一方面学校上课上得太简单，他们没法忍受bored；另一

娃的exacutive function skill会一直不成熟于正常同龄人，低龄2-4岁。这就是说，
那些真正的小神童，exacutive function skill一直不成熟于正常同龄人。”反而推之
，executive function skill发育正常的娃，不会是真正的神童。
2，“这个exacutive function skill会最终在青春期左右长上来，追成和正常智商儿
童一样。”根据前面说的，“一方面先进，另一方肯定是有代价的！”，等GT娃
executive function skill在青春期追上来时，他们的IQ就是付出代价的部分。
总结：
