发帖数: 4434 | 11 大峡谷公园十分大，南北沿，从东往西有很多个点可以看。但各个点都差不多，所以其实看完一个其他的就随意了。很多人游大峡谷就是到顶上看看，但我觉得这样不够意思。大峡谷从顶到谷底，一共有差不多十来层的岩石构造，不往下面走走是看不到其真面貌的。所以我决心要走谷底一次。
准备之路线：
查看nps.gov，里面的资料很全。大峡谷能走到谷底的trail一共只有三条，North Kaibab, South Kaibab，和Bright Angele。North Kaibab在北沿，11月份到4月份是关闭的，所以只能去南沿。一般人建议都是从South Kaibab下去，从Bright Angele上来，因为Bright Angele比较缓。相对South Kaibab则景观更开阔一些。我们选择了这条经典路线。
本来打算在谷底的Bright Angle Campground待一个晚上的，可是订满，只能选择在Bright Angle中间的Indian Garden。记得，如果要Camping，要提前跟Backcountry Office订Permit，Permit比较拥挤，不容易订到，要提早。

发帖数: 41 | 12 3号早上五点半就起来了，本准备再早起些去yaki point看日出，但考虑到今天的艰巨
任务决定还是放弃了。今天准备走网上看到的一条路线，总共大约13.5mi，从south
Kaibab trail下去，大概4.5mi，再通过tonto trail 大概4.5mi到bright angel trail
，从trail 上去又大概4.5mi。这样在不必宿营的前提下尽量体会了大峡谷的hiking了
。坐车到了south Kaibab trailhead，大概6点半，天气还很凉爽，得穿个小外套。推
荐的hike时间10点之前&4点之后，可想10点后的天气了，昨天在rim trail没体会到有
多厉害，但估计今天在峡谷里面是完全不同了，后来才知道还是估计不足呀。一大早人
还不少，特别是碰到了一整队的日本游客，大概有十几个，话说整个旅途中碰到最多的
不是美国人，而是欧洲人和亚洲人，一路上各种语言听了个遍。
整个路都是土，所以建议一定要穿防滑的鞋，不然下坡很容易滑倒。过了1.5mi有个休
息点，可以上厕所，再过1.5mi，又有个休息点，不过没有厕所。 走south Kaibab最后

11月2号先到的Las Vegas，机场旁边有个Walmart，穷人是坚决不会到大峡谷去挨宰的

饭直接出发。去大峡谷水一定要带够，这两个地方都干，小心被晒成bacon哦。我们三

goddard和bright horizon，我们更喜欢goddard一些。虽然没看见什么老师 （放假了
在加上一个什么活动），director感觉很professional，硬件也比bright horizon好一
些。有可能是他家刚刷过墙，画了好多小动物，感觉比较好
考虑到bright horizon离家和学校都近，我们比较倾向放那边了。这样以后不管搬家到
哪儿，上班的时候送过去就行。昨天跟老板提了一下，老板说他儿子就是在那儿上的，
感觉还不错。不过我赶着去上班，都是半个小时搞定，只能看看硬件了。我主要关注了
一下他们的假期和接送的时间。两家从明年开始都是7am－6pm，假期也不多。 |

like I said, many young and bright said they were willign to pay a lot more
taxes when they make good money. They just felt unfair that why some older
but not so smart people making a lot more than them. They want government to
tax them so the yougn and bright can feel better.
but the young and bright won't get anything other than feeling better. this
land is full of opportunities and all bright and hardworking people will get
their chances.

公司愁云惨淡，绿卡遥遥无期，想了很久的R2R再也不能等了。正好幸运地订到了五月
底North Rim Lodge的房间，于是就出发了。
5月31号中午到达South Rim，转了好几圈才在Bright Angel Lodge门口找到街趴。坐上
1点半的Trans Canyon Shuttle，一路狂奔4个半小时，抵达North Rim Lodge，到旅馆
之前会在North Kaibab TH的Camp Ground停一下，方便露营的同学。一车人都是户外爱
好者，一路叽叽喳喳互相显摆，旅途倒也热闹。有两个墨西哥大叔据说每年五月九月各
走一次R2R。可是至于穿越这么多次吗。。。
由于是首次穿越，之前做了些功课，加上今年二月走了一次Bright Angel Trail的上下
，心里比较有底。North Kaibab虽然很长，但是主要是下坡，应该问题不大。最大的不
确定因素是天气，据说谷底很热，据说Phantom Ranch 31号最高107度，据说10点到3点
之间绝对不能暴露在Trail上，据说每年都死人。。。。NPS说的有点儿夸张，但是作为
新手，还是小心为上。

发帖数: 201 | 39 zan!我夏天的时候碰到一对人马，下午5点左右从南面下去，说是要走到北面再回来。
还看到一对父女，在下面camp了4夜。都是牛人
其实看完一个其他的就随意了。很多人游大峡谷就是到顶上看看，但我觉得这样不够意
思。大峡谷从顶到谷底，一共有差不多十来层的岩石构造，不往下面走走是看不到其真
面貌的。所以我决心要走谷底一次。
Kaibab, South Kaibab，和Bright Angele。North Kaibab在北沿，11月份到4月份是关
闭的，所以只能去南沿。一般人建议都是从South Kaibab下去，从Bright Angele上来
，因为Bright Angele比较缓。相对South Kaibab则景观更开阔一些。我们选择了这条
经典路线。
Bright Angle中间的Indian Garden。记得，如果要Camping，要提前跟Backcountry
Office订Permit，Permit比较拥挤，不容易订到，要提早。
一次。一般人会认为第一次Backcountry就选择Grand Canyon是有点疯，因为GC在整个
美国都算比较艰苦的Backcountry地点 |

候既如此。所幸的是作为穷学生有足够的业余时间do research. 于是便有了本文。再
次警告，本文极其极其罗嗦，不求文笔优美，但求面面俱到。

发帖数: 1498 | 42 Day 6 大峡谷一日简易游
早上漱洗过后，在餐厅买了简单的早饭，便开车前往visitor center，那里也算是
Mather Point的景点范围。这里的游人很多，经常看见同胞。整个上午就是站在峡谷旁
边看峡谷。上午灿烂的阳光下，峡谷的颜色显得有些单一贫乏，就像是阳光晒多了的书
皮，颜色被晒掉了不少，红色的岩石有点像洗得发白的红帆布，一些绿色并不高大的植
物，就像是布上的霉菌洗过后留下的斑，并没有照片中看到那么美丽。
峡谷确实很壮观，毕竟那么大呢。虽然震撼不大，但也没有让我感觉到失望，上帝创造
出的壮丽的景色绝对不可能让人们感到失望，上苍的宏伟建筑一定远远超过人类能力所
至，在山与山之间划出那么大的一个口子，而且让口子里的山峰都长得差不多，颜色的
分层也恰到好处。以前的印第安人就在这些群山中上上下下，打猎取水吃野果，挺清苦
的。
从Mather Point离开，已经接近中午，为了稍微深入一点的体验大峡谷，同时又不让孩
子和老人太累着，我们决定去走一条峡谷边上只有1mile而且铺得很好的路。在visitor

发帖数: 27 | 43 本人旅行和户外经验较丰富，开学前有一周多的假，目前的初步计划如下：
14号飞Phoenix
15号Phoenix半日游，中午出发去大峡谷，夜宿大峡谷South Rim的某个Lodge，或者谷
外小镇
16号一早开走Bright Angel Trail, 走大概一半到Indian Garden，返回，来回10英里
左右. 因为谷底的Phantom Ranch太热门，一年前就订光了。Bright Angel campground
现在应该也不可能拿到permit了.
17号乘坐Colorado河的游船，弥补未能下到谷底的遗憾。
18号马蹄湾，羚羊谷, 有时间再逛逛Lake Powell．
19号Monument Valley，下午出发去Arches National Park
20号Arches National Park， Delicate Arch Trail非常轻度来回仅 3 miles.
21号继续Arches National Park, Devils Garden Primitive Loop来回7.2 miles.

发帖数: 1640 | 47 可以，但是你要确保在South Rim有地方住，现在订估计已经没有了，只能住到Tusayan
，可以从Bright Angel上来之后到Bright Angel Lodge打电话叫出租车过去。
South Kaibab的景色比Bright Angel要好，但是沿途没有水，而且上来之后离Village
比较远，一般N2S或者S2S都是选Bright Angel上来。不过如果不是trailrun的话，上来
的时候天色已晚也看不到什么了。
S2N的挑战更大一些以后可以尝试，虽然个人觉得没有必要。你第二天还能动的话可以
走一段South Kaibab，到Ooh Aah Point或者Cedar Ridge往回返就行了，再往下都是
switchback也没有太大看头。 |
