explaination is the definition of saturation actually.
normally color is defined by Hue, Saturation and Brightness.
and brightness does have different definitions since it is more a
human viewing value.
Several means of describing it are:
"Intensity": Found by mechanical measurement of the "power" of the
light.

family sound. my KEF is pretty bright and forward too, but the brightness
may come from the 27khz metal cone break up (resulting a peak in freq

1. Bright Horizons，全国连锁的，在公司楼底下，比较贵，有$150 registration
fee，每月交钱，toddlers不包午餐早餐，只包两顿snacks，或者每天3刀的午餐费；
2. 私人的，只此一家，离公司走路10～15分钟，开车当然也就2分钟，每天可以放11个
小时，价钱比1便宜不少，20%以上，硬件设施看起来比1好，地方大，宝宝Play的地方
布置的比较好比较大，老师宝宝比例跟1一样，infant都是1：3或者2：7，toddlers是1
：4或者2：9，toddlers包早午餐外加两顿snacks，没有registration fee，2周交一次
钱；
3. 州内连锁，公司和家附近各一家，都是2 miles左右，很大很系统，比Bright Horizons规模大多了，Bright Horizon |

附近的一般的infant care 收费1200~1400， Bright Horizon要1950。 参观了一下，
Bright Horizon确实不错， 有很多玩具，老师（两位老太太，其中一个在这里工作了
10年）也不错，看上去也很和蔼，负责，环境也比一般的稍强。
不知道花这钱值得吗？感觉孩子一岁之前主要还是吃好睡好。 也许一岁之前就上个一
般的，以后再上个好的比较合适？ 另外，这个Bright Horizon有点绕路， 大概要比其
他的每天多花20分钟。 |

I have to point out, the actual brightness is not 300 nit, because of the
touch layer, the brightness is just the same or even worse than the WXGA LED
screen, which is 200 nit
PS: The SuperBright one is 285 nit, which is much brighter than the
Multitouch one
PS2: if you have desire for brightness, go for the Superbright Outdoor model
, but in ordinary indoor use, 200 nit is enough |

as the peaks.
I didn't do the measurement, but it seems to me that the total luminosity of
the peaks are smaller than that of the stars. Since the peaks are covered
by snow with high reflectivity, and they may reflect and scatter startlights
from half of the sky, they may get seen brightness from the stars alone.
