Do not have a LZ's car to look at it. So I am just guessing here.
Normally the air duct opening is facing front, and water can get into the
air box(/air filter box). And right there the water will drain through a
hole at the lowest point of the box.
So if I have to guess, that drain hole is clogged somehow. Then water will
accumulate gradually down the line.

far away from it is lifespan (30k miles?), so I changed it to IR type

我的check engine没有亮过。去一个车铺换了spark plug和后面的刹车，没有感觉有什
么改善。车铺小二建议做Throttle body cleaning,combustion chamber cleaning。我
不大清楚这些东东是什么就没做，他说暂时也没什么大问题就让我开走了。

It may also leak into coolant. Check the coolant.
Either way, it is an expensive repair (a few thousand $).
Either hyundai pays for it or you pay for it.
This is probably a manufacture defect. Something is wrong with engine block
or engine head or head gasket.

因为修power steering system 的时候把一个连接cooling system 的overflow
tank 的hose 打开过，从那以后车子开20 分钟以上就开始overheat.已经换了water
pump, thermostat, radiator. cooling fan 没有问题。做过pressure test, 没有
leak. 做过combustion test, head gasket 没有问题。
去了几个修车行都检查不出问题所在。
怀疑有air locked. 但是已经bleed 过很多次。不解决问题。google 过，有人说
要把车前头lift up 3 feet high, 来排除air. 不解how and why? anybody have any
idea?
网上 有人说在thermostat上钻一个孔，以便于 让air通过。去哪里找这样懂行的
修车人？

If jump start wouldn't work, you probably have either a failed alternator or
