court.
The prosecutor was trying to make a deal with everyone. The thing is there
is a $250 surcharge if you want to avoid the points by pleaing guilty. I was
the only one (out of more than 20 people with traffic ticket) decided to
plea NOT guilty.
After waited for 3 hours, it's finally my turn to face the judge. The police

整个过程一共2年半。 最后判给我的修车钱加法庭钱一共4000多不到5000.
对方撞我， 他的保险不愿全陪， 争辩我是neglegant driving。 所以我将driver告上
small claim court， 对方保险公司的律师出席， driver只在arbitration和final
hearing出席陈述， 我参加了所有的court date。 由于当时我是半保， 所以我的保险
公司不会为我做任何事。
简单讲， 你要是sue对方， 一定要想好， 不要半途而废。 中途我也曾打过退堂鼓，
但最后还是硬挺过来了。 另外， 你就是要在court的网页上和网上的legal资源里充分
查好整个过程和如果准备递交paperwork。 错了的话， 就会被对方抓住而要求法庭
dismiss case。

The person finally showed up (looked like a substitution)came in without any word of apology.
I twice requested dismissing my case based on the court's fault (judge being 45 minutes late), but did not get it from the substitution(?) judge.

Hi, All
I sent my TBD on Oct 7th 2011 before the due date. But i never received
anything back from the court. So I sent a letter to ask them what is the
judgement in Feb 1st 2012. I just received a notice from the court clerk and
they said they mailed the notice out on Nov11th 2011 (I was found Guilt).
So obviously I missed out the 20 day window for requesting Trial de novo, is

off records，但是打电话给那个county的officer了解的时候，对方说只是说3个月后
no conviction，supervision会一直在record上，没有可能off；如果不请求
supervision，就会有points。
请问版上有没有人了解伊利诺伊州的对于speeding ticket的court supervision？有没
有必要request court supervision？ |

以上不是很确定，好像有这种说法。另外如果时间不方便，有的 court 可以让你改上

红灯右转，
结果没看清有“no right turn on red" 的牌子，被蹲点的条子抓个正着。条子给开了
ticket,并且给我说我会收到 court 给我的letter， letter 上会告诉我怎么做。
回家后发现ticket 上写的住址写成了我搬家以前的旧地址。上面也写了在10月2号之前
要去city court traffic division report. ticket上没写罚多少钱。
大家觉得这样的情况是直接交钱+上网上驾校 还是上庭argue？如果直接交钱，是任意在
10月2号之前去法院都可以吗？ 这种红灯右转的罚单大概得罚多少？ 会不会扣点数？
另外，警察说的我会受到法院的信，但到目前联系了我旧地址的住户，说还没有收到。
这种信一般是什么目的？有必要再等这封信吗？

没有collison保险，所以一定得我们的保险公司来修。保险公司根据我爸爸的描述，说
会reject对方的要求，但是对方可能会去small claim court。
回复一下当时的情景。我爸爸在自己lane开车，他是新手开得比较偏，但应该还在自己
lane。然后旁边lane某车从旁边蹭过。然后两车碰到了。
不太想和对方纠缠这种事情，不知道应付small claim court会有多麻烦。第一个问题
是父亲11月份回国，如果那个时候small claim court过来要求，如果因为要回国不能
应诉，会不会有什么不好的影响，譬如说影响父亲下次入境，或者需要我作为主体来应
诉（对方没有collision保险，估计也是那种闲着没事找事的主，不知道会不会从此被
粘上了）？ |

我们发给他一封邮件，问他接不接受500块（其实根本不值得这个数），周六之前不回
，表示不接受，我们就file compliant。结果他没回，今天收到他的邮件说他已经告我
们到small claim court。真是超级无赖，满口似有非有的谎话，居然先告状。这个

最近有些背。前段时间在自家小区的stop sign没有full stop，被警察
给了ticket。之前已经连续7年没有得到ticket了，只是去年的时候撞了
黄灯被警察抓了给了个warning。
因为LD前段时间也得了个speeding ticket（LD十几年驾龄里的第一张ticket），
所以两人都想去court appeal，否则保险费估计涨不少。
请问在court怎么argue才能赢呢？坚持说full stop了，还是说没有完全stop？
估计说没有full stop 肯定要输。那怎么让他们相信full stop了呢？那个
警察也不知躲在哪里，stop sign附近没有看见，到了家门口才发现警察在后面
跟着。

了。那个teriyaki boy 很受欢迎，盈利应该不错。但market fair 觉得food court 占
地大，要多开几家店。这个决定也不一定对，因为food court本身虽然占地大，但吸引
客流。是赚是赔不一定。
那个饭店好多人喜欢，吃完饭后再买件衣服，逛逛书店是我们经常做的一件事。关门了

They ask you to go to court. Actually not really right away be in "court".
They will let you to talk to the Prosecutor first. The Prosecutor will tell
you the choice to pay extra $$ to reduce the "points".
If there is no such process to ask you go to court, there will be no chance
for the Prosecutor to tell you the "pay money to reduce point" options. |
