按照传统(其实是西方的传统)，求婚或订婚时男方要送女方一枚钻戒(称为engagement
ring)，女方是不送男方钻戒的(看来只有男方向女方求婚了)。结婚时双方互赠素圈
戒指(称为wedding bands)，这才是以后生活中经常戴的戒指。wedding bands因为
便宜所以经常戴着也不用怕掉怕被抢，而engagement ring因为很贵所以一般都是在
某些场合才戴上的。
我上个月花了折合840元买了一对白金wedding bands，没有任何样式，就是一对圈
圈。需要说明的是白金不是铂金(platinum)，白金是white gold，还是gold的一种，
不过因为颜色是白的而与黄金(yellow gold)区分开来，价钱上白金和黄金是一样的，
都大大低于铂金的价格。另外需要说明的是要去好的商家买，以后若是圈圈的尺寸
不合适了还可以拿过去改尺寸。
买engagement ring花了我很多时间，需要说明的是，如果有条件，一定要买个钻戒

有个选择题是问auditor在什么情况下可以接受internal audit engagement,我当时觉
得四个选项都不对，就瞎懵了一个。我记得在GAAS下，接受internal audit
engagement应该会影响independence吧？但是我记得好像International auditing
standards好像是允许auditor接受internal audit engagements的，对吗？
遇到一个很难的simulation，audit financial derivatives. 根据题目给出的每个
description来判断control risk和detection risk是增加还是减少。 我只记得一个
description, 大概是说management 用daily trading data from internet 来记录

很想结合自己的经历说点什么。只求大家讨论，绝无挑衅之意。
lz说的有些道理，但不全对。你总结的那几点向上爬的基本素质，并非4大而已。哪哪
都是。然而，能受赏识的人这是一类，也还有一类不是这样。
在四大关键的是合伙人。他手下一群人，他要寻找他信任的，让他对risk有个把握。常
常去跟合伙人沟通的，能说会道的（不是说假话，而是把情况言简意赅说得很清楚的）
，让客户称赞的，把staff管好让他们好好干活的，就招公司喜欢。如果能给合伙人带
来客户带来商机的，他就更喜欢了，但是对于中国人来说比较难，没有人脉, 所以在4
大最后一般都是会走的，除非在纽约的所（我认识的一个在advisory做到director，一
个在tax做到partner，两个都是学英语专业后来改会计的，两个都在纽约）。话说回来

和partner好几个engagement都是他们，估计他们觉得我还行，就带着我到处走了。。
。然后还有一两个人也是跟我一样的情况，所以到最后，经常换了个engagement，70%
的人都是一样的，哈哈哈

简单说一下我的工作经历：我几年前进了4大做 external auditing。 1年后去了另外
一家公司，不再做 auditing, 是做 general accounting. 在那里一呆就是好几年 。
工作倒也 轻松自在。
不过，现在又 想回public accounting firm做 auditing, 一方面觉得自己还可以折腾
，可以更多用到cpa的知识， 还可以学到更多经验，另一方面也觉得如果某一天回国，
这样的经验在国内更容易找工作。
当初在4大一年，进行了几个engagements。你们知道，作为 team member, 整个 team
干完整个 engagement的方方面面，也有完整的 documentation,但是我一个人所负责的
范围有限，在负责的 方面也干了很多具体的事情，但不像team leader那样总揽全局。
我吃不准，如果有interview, 关于auditing的机会，对方会针对我的这个经历问什么

就好了。本来政府是不需要来搅和这个市场的，现在倒好，在保护弱势群体（月嫂）的
名义下，用劳工法来摧毁了这个市场，造成月嫂找不到工作，产妇没人照顾。
有什么办法提高恶霸月嫂的诉讼成本，降低雇主的损失，比如说让保姆交押金，设计一

但是大伙show的时候是engagement 和 wedding 都戴在无名指上；貌似两个都戴的话
似乎也是叠加起来比较好看。但是因为有resize的问题，如果考虑到将来要戴在一个手

另外到底是左手还是右手啊？原来以为是男左女右，但是看到的似乎别人又是戴左手
的（因为右手要干活?)
还有一个问题，大的圈可以resize改小，但是要是以后长胖了，那圈可以resize大吗?

之前搭车求问过，只有一个人搭理。现在连奔带祝福的求推荐ring。最近要开始做功课了，尤其是wedding band的款式最头疼。网上看了t家的c家的bvl家的，看得有点眼花缭乱，没看到什么简单大方又稍微别致点的款式，可能实物会好些? 或者是不是干脆在国内买，设计会更时尚些？

The clutch delay valve was put on the vehicle after 02WRX transmissions were
failing from people dumping the clutch. It resticts the flow of the hydraul
ic fluid going to the slave cylinder limiting the engagement speed of the cl
utch, thus "delaying" the engagement. So when you dump the clutch, it actual
doesn't engage right away.
