读完,这本书很明显的有两个方向
1:试图对整个宗教的存在本身进行理性的分析
2:用理性的方法阐明作者的观点,即:宗教(或一切涉及超自然的理论)对人类的
伤害大于贡献,是到了无神论者站出来推动社会进步的时候了。
作者分析的脉络从每章的题目就一目了然:
首先的问题就是宗教(超自然)本身的合理性:现存有哪些上帝(超自然)存在的理论
?这些理论的错误在哪里?这些宗教(超自然)现象是如何自然的产生?这一部分针对
的基本是那些最坚定的(hardcore)教徒或相信任何超自然现象的人。对于从小就是无
神论者的我,超自然理论的非理性是很显然的;但是要分析它们错在“哪里”,那些相
信超自然的人的反驳错在哪里,我却从没真正给出一个让我自己满意的缜密的分析。在
这一点上,作者的分析工作相当出色,抽丝剥茧,论证让我信服。

Do you understand science? Then you must know that science is not all about
what we've found, more important aspect of science is how we found it -- the
method we used to solve problems and pursuing the truth. As far as I know,
there's no scientific evidence that support God(s) might exist.

knowing if it would collapse the financial system, at least hurt those who
save money in banks. Same to the price of agricultural commodities: if it is
too low, the farmers will starve, if it is to high, the world will starve.
