这个例子恰恰说明英文是先进的，中文是落后的。不赋予一个新事物全新的名字，而赋
予它一个望文生义的例子是非常愚昧甚至危险的。尤其是翻译者并不了解事物内涵而给
它一个不贴切的译名的时候。
最好的例子是 evolution 翻译成进化论，导致大量中国人望文生义，以为高大，聪明
等等特质是单向 evolved的，完全不理解 evolution的真正含义。一个号称无神论为主
的国家，一个中学必涉及evolution的国家实际上懂evolution的人恐怕不到1%，这里面
最大的问题就是汉语本身以及翻译。如果直接翻译艾窝录寻可能会好很多。那样人们会
意识到这是个全新概念需要仔细学习。
还有一个例子是hepatitis 翻译成肝炎，如果望文生义，就会和细菌感染等同，并且低
估其严重性和治愈难度。如果翻译成海珀太提病，就不会有这种误解。 |

新基因工程乙肝疫苗技术转让中国。1993年，中国成功生产出第一批基因工程乙肝疫苗
。以当时中国每年2000万新生儿计算，1993-2018年，25年间，中国至少有5亿新生儿接
种这种疫苗。然而，他们也许从来都不知道自己能接种这种疫苗的缘由，因为这一事实

二十九年前，1989年9月11日，美国默克公司和中国三家单位——中国技术进出口公司

然而，进口疫苗并不是你想打就能打的。
入华，寸步难行
中国是全球最大的人用疫苗市场，每年批签发疫苗5~10亿支，国内疫苗产值保持在150

然而，想要进入中国市场，并非易事。

00:00 size echogenic等都正常，no focal mass 没有发现脂肪浸润。。
03：00(?)左右发现急性肝衰竭，靠血样， INR高到一定程度且没有肝脏病史，都归于
acute liver failure。所以他被归于acute liver failure。医院当天就劝我们参加研
究计划，我们同意了。可是后来出院前医院把他拿下来了，说他不是急性，是慢性。
10:30发现脂肪浸润, diffuse echogenic
oncologist这么评价：
due to isolated hepatic process, not likely oncologic process。主要根据是发
生得太快了，癌症没有这么快的。
最后我想再强调一点，出事了，你连个统计数据都进不去。acute liver failure，给

我表妹，才20多岁，确诊是肝癌，但是做活体穿刺的时候，被301误诊了，说是恶性最
严重的小细胞瘤。大家都快绝望了，后来又找人重新做切片，发现是肝上皮样血管内皮
瘤。（hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma）这瘤子非常罕见，但是恶性程度
远远没有那么高。

在填写表格时碰到几个问题：
1. Is applicant a citizen of the U.S.? 肯定不是，但没有永久居民选项，只能
填写“已在美合法居住 X year Y months”?
2. 有病史，lifetime的Hepatitis。几十年前得的，80年代初，一年多时间好了，就再
没有问题过。一是表格上要提供医生啊、电话啊，具体年月日，都无从查起了；二是看
到一句话，you will be asked to provide details of the condition，这更是提供
不了了。
