要申请permanent sticker的。对于在2004.6.14后考CS最后拿到ecfmg certificate的
人，这个certificate已经是永久性的了，不需要再申请permanent sticker.

"pending permanent resident"或者"身份调整状态"一说的。另外，如果按搂主的说法
，递了140 就可以说pending permanent resident，那么人人可以这么说.所以还是实
事求是，你如果没有EAD,如果不是PR, 那就需要医院sponsor visa。这是在美国最最基
本的常识. |

另起一贴,主要是想贡献一下我个人的理解,同时也不屑和任何人争论.也请其他同学别
回此贴.
我的理解:
140批准后,USCIS一旦受理了你的485,到485批下来前,你就进入了"Adjustment of
Status(AOS)"状态.AOS,译成中文,就是"身份调整状态".
在AOS期间,为了体现移民法的人性和人道,容许你申请EAD和AP,以在最大程度上不影响你的工作和生活.
所以,在AOS状态,在EAD批准后,你可以告诉未来的雇主:我有工作许可,现在处于AOS状态.这种情况,谁都理解,GC很快就在你兜里了.
最好不要用"pending permanent resident",这是我们自己的理解,也不是专业术语.
如果140刚交上去都还没批,又没递485,就不会有人相信你是"pending permanent
resident".
当然,还有一种可能,也可以申请EAD______EB1类140和485同时递交,任何人都有权利这
么做,但要冒比较大的风险. |

Permanent job: CRO 70k/year正在办绿卡,没啥benefit；
Contractor: 中型药厂 $65/hour for 12 months， work remotely, 挂在staffing 公
司名下；
我的concern是，现在的工作虽然钱不多，但是比较轻松，老板人也不错。contractor
的话可能对自己职业发展没啥太大帮助，而且work remotely不能和老板面对面交流，
怕沟通出问题。想跳得原因是觉得现在的工作没啥挑战，小公司很多东西都不规范，每
天上班要commute,当然工资低也是一方面；犹豫的原因是换工作了要重新办绿卡，可能
很麻烦。请大家说说。 |
