刚发现Dealer的单子上说发动机有Sludge, 查了查金山是"软泥, 淤泥, 矿泥, 煤泥"的意
思.现在大概知道是有什么东东在发动机里了.
问题是如何除发动机的Sludge (淤泥)呢?
有没有什么产品可以像洗厕所一样洗发动机呢?
因为如果把发动机拆了, 好像不太好.

发帖数: 823 | 5 我前阵子做了个literature review，不是关于MTBE的，而是关于一般的micro-
pollutants (pharmaceuticals, personal care products, hormones, etc）的去除。
一般的WWTP，设计的时候考虑的参数和目标只是宏观污染物的去除，BOD, NH3-N, P等
。我没有发现哪个厂的设计里头考虑这些微量污染物去除的。
activated sludge process 可以通过sorption, aerobic biodegradation,
hydrolysis, photolysis, and volatilization 去除一些污染物。其中以前两个机理
最重要。现在研究比较多的是长SRT 带来的好处。虽然有不少不错的结论出来，但还是
研究阶段，我没发现用到设计实际水厂的。但是MTBE备不住可以air stripping出来，
这个我没查过。
有趣的是，MBR 的有效性跟膜的特性有关。虽然维持比较高的SRT时，MBR会把HRT降很
多，但是但是去除这些微量污染物的时候，ultra-filtration memb |

1，sludge，主要是fuel, water 进入机油造成的，而且会dilute oil。一般越是短途
，stop&go越是明显。经常开长途就比较少。新换的synthetic oil清洗功能也比较强
2, engine wear，一些fine metal particles，主要靠filter去除，长时间不换油要用
extented lift的filter，基本就是加大filter容量
3, engine oil break down，高温工作，肯定oil的润滑功能会越来越差。synthetic比conventional的衰退的少，润滑更好些
一般free maintenance就是抓住了syn oil的第三点在long oil change interval上做
的marking噱头
一般rules of thumb是100hr换普通油，200hr换合成油
比方我上班10mile开15min，中午去gym来回共10mile用30min，下班回家堵车10mile开
30min，周末出去玩，高速开的远一些，平均大概应该25～30miles/hr。目前on-bo |

不要骂我啦，车拿来的时候就这样。（98 mazda prptege lx）
还很脆，大多一碰就掉，让我很紧张，因为common sense 告诉我掉在机油系统里面可
能后果不大
好。

年有将近1000万辆车的销售，而1997到2002五年收到的sludge complaint才3000件，假
设实际sludge damage的车是file complaint的100倍，这个sludge的比例才0.6%而已，
这个比例对于一辆14年的破车来说，根本可以忽略不计。而且sludge问题有大有小，严
重的可能几万迈就挂了，不严重的可能本来发动机寿命有50万，给降到20万了。她能买
14年的车，自然就是因为买不起新的嘛，所以花个十几块钱把火花塞换了还是很值得的。

人的粪便是集中收走，进处理厂处理
法律规定是不准作为肥料
更不准跟国内一样用作灌溉养鱼什么的
马的粪便可以变成肥料但人的不可以
据说后来是因为sewage 处理厂处理后的最终产品sludge怎么办呢？
还是要处理的是不是？
美国人创造力强啊，就将sludge变成organic fertilizer了
用sludge做肥料生产出来的就是organic食品了

business。
一般美国人比较喜欢Mobile 1，市场share 80%。我还看有些老美喜欢valvoline。
一般容易sludge的车和跑车还是尽量用合成油比较好。唯一原因是合成油耐高温，不容
易sludge。上次丰田sludge事件，好像出问题的车子都用的矿物油。 |

而对付sludge最重要的特性是机油的燃点，尤其是高性能高压缩比高温度的发动机。
合成油比矿物油主要高在这方面。其他没什么特别差别，或者说不值你多付的那些钱。
丰田当年发动机sludge就是因为温度过高了。所以一般四缸菜车，用什么油都可以，按
时换就行了。 |

Carb + Choke Cleaner, Jet Spray
5元左右一大瓶的压力喷罐
还带跟管子可以直接精确定位的喷
除油除sludge什么的效果超好，而且同时可以带走零件表面的水分
如果是sludge，先喷一点软化一下，然后用纸一擦就掉了
当然不在乎的话对准sludge狂喷也能喷掉
喷完之后晾一会自己就挥发掉了
Carb + Choke Cleaner感觉比较温和
更强力的是brake parts cleaner |

I can't agree more.
The accumulator is something to suspect on fully hydraulic and partly
electronic automatics. Most hydraulic clutch/band circuits have an accumulator,
which is a spring-loaded piston assembly in a chamber, to prevent shift shock.
If the chamber is filled with sludge or the piston spring is broken, it could
be responsible.
Of course, a sludge-filled or varnished accumulator chamber could indicate
a varnished valve body under the oil pan. S |

是saabcentral/saabnet上推荐的local店，也不便宜。其他都不靠谱，至于firestone
修saab，那是joke。
至于你的问题，可大可小。02 saab有著名的oil sludge问题。你的saab清洗过oil pan
和滤网吗？平时都是多久换一次油，换得什么油。那个咔咔声要赶紧去查，弄不好就是
timing chain 那儿来的，那就说明你的发动机oil sludge很厉害了，赶紧洗，有可能
要换timiing chain。成本不到100刀。人工700-1000不等。可以顺便把水泵换了，省了
以后换水泵的labor。 |

might be the oil sludge issue. Toyota should fix (replace major components
in engine) it for free if it is the case.

有就是不要随便往机油里加添加剂。还有我知道的就是不要用FRAM oil filter。他们
已经recall了PH3614，因为Toyota的问题。

use of synthetic oil and recommended oil change interval was too long, as a
result, some engines had sludge problem.
This is no long an issue for newer SAABs. In general, SAAB is reliable.
The down side is not many shops know how to work on a SAAB. You should find
a local shop that is specialized in SAAB.

其是在高温发动机上。德国车不用矿物油就是怕sludge，宝马这个问题曾经十分严重。

丰田抵赖说是用户没按时换油，但真实原因是发动机温度设计过高，按时换油也没用。

之后的丰田汽油车上就没这个东西了，据说是催化升级了，可以对付更高的NOx。
因为没EGR，发动机的工作温度更高，所以有一阵丰田出了sludge问题。
