I have troubles to decide which one I should take. I appreciate if anybody
here may give me some opinion for reference.
Here is some background info.
I have some life/annuity experience.
The annuity offer is from a big public traded company. The annuity actuarial
division grows very fast in past 3 years. It starts from 20-30 people and
now it's over 100 now. I am a little concerned the future downsizing if

I think you should be fine with either of those offers.
1. You had a little bit concern about the stock market going down would drag
down annuity business. I am assuming you are talking about the variable
annuity product line. I think part of the reason that annuity business grow
very fast in your company is because more retirement planning need to
purchase annuity. Regardless of the stock market performance, folks are
still gonna purchase annuity (maybe backed back more conservative |

may be more transferable across China and USA if Blackrose want to move back
to China in the future.

The Annuity position is a full time position whereas the health position is
a student position. They all have the exam support but the full time one
doesn't have too much time support. I don't have ASA yet.
By the way people told me that annuity actuaries have lots of stress due to
the work itself. Thus there are always conflicts potential there.......

management?
If this is your first job, it really does not matter you do annuity or
health, but what you like to do. You like to talk to people, or like to sit
at your desk all day. You like to look at more on business, or you like to
do more support kind of work.

more divisifications on the future opportunities and chances to work in the
other countries.
Health track can only give you some professional developments.
It is easy to choose, right? |
