发帖数: 2405 | 12 That's one deficit in pericyte research. No definitive marker for it. It has
been reported that aSMA can be used as a marker for more mature pericyte.
To get a definitive confirmation of pericyte, ultrastructural analysis is
needed to see if it's within the basement membrane.
Apparently, it's not practical in most cases.
So multiple markers should be used.
I recommend the review by Christer Betsholtz on the developmental cell.
