在这个生物公司干了一年多了，起初是做volunteer到最后给pay$12/hour，这是个中国
老板，说是帮我办H1B，最后H1B终于下来了，他却找借口要解雇我。现在很急要找一份
相关的生物工作，lab technician or research assistant.如果谁有这方面的消息，

发帖数: 9 | 5 是的，就是$12/hour，因为律师有和老板谈必须要加到我H1标准的工资才可以，所以老
板就一直这么拖着，而我的H1B终于下来了，老板因为不想再给加工资，所以就叫我走
人，因为现在不缺廉价劳动力。 |

purification 以及一些杂活，基本的实验技术我都会，像DNA digestion，
transformation，plasmid preparetion, PCR， gel eletrophoresis, SDS-PAGE,
WEST Blotting以及 cell culture 等。 当然我并不design clone to produce
protein. 唉，不过也才做了一年多一点啊。

最好找学校换身份。

很多phd估计也不会那么多把，尤其你说的哪个，antibody purification，相对来说，
是挺复杂的，要么就是你会一点点，也都写上啦？

, pgp activity, phage display, yeast knock out, point mutation, 果蝇酵母的都
没写的
其实是现在掌握的很好：从前掌握的很好（现在不做但是也能很快捡起来）：现在掌握
的一般1：1：1吧。
我本科的training很辛苦很全面，在实验室整整作了两年的intense banch work，提到
的技术大部分都在那两年学的，当然掌握程度不一样是有的。到了这边自己做课题，有
的技术磨的更好，有的也就荒废了
在这边死在了不大考谱的课题上，就转硕了，training也是照着PhD上的。所以不是一
定要比所有的PhD会的技术少呀。
western, protein expression in mammalian cells, flow cytometry of TUNEL
assay, enzyme assay, GFP, cell and small animal handling 是现在经常做的
realtime, PCR array, ELISA, coomassie blue staining, genotyping, IHC, 是会用
到的
其他是以前掌握但是现在不做的，
也许有人问为什么现在不做plasmid construction 但是做蛋白表达，你一定是假的（
方式），我就提前说了，那是我买的现成的
会的技术多但是课题做的不好，有data无结论串不成完整的story，老板不大爽，担心
referee的问题

听上去part time的建议挺考谱的
如果实在担心就先找语言学校（或者别的学校）谈妥了，这边出了问题那边马上就换F1吧
H1一旦解雇是要14天之内离境的，挺麻烦的呢
