谈一谈几个熟悉的会议，请大家补充。Computer Graphics 中最鼎鼎大名的就是SIGGRA
PH了。其会议全称是：International Conference on Computer Graphics and Intera
ctive Techniques. SIGGRAPH是ACM SIG之一。SIGGRAPH是一个盛会式的会议。除了Pap
er,还有很大规模的展览。98年 SIGGRAPH的与会者人数达到了创纪录的 48700。现在维
持在30000上下。SIGGRAPH paper的接受率大约接近20%. 而实际上递交到SIGRRAPH的文
章质量都很高，其录取难度要比接受率接近的其他会议高得多。
其他Computer Graphics 的会议和SIGGRAPH就至少差了一个档次。SIGGRAPH下来是 Eur
ographics. 虽然是欧洲的会议，但也是面向世界。接受率现在也有差不多20%.但是每次
会议参加人数就少的多，就是5-600。还有不错的 |

pg is less then 20%. 2005 is 13.8%
infoVis < 30%. vg around 40-50%

but I guess most of the submissions are from asia area.
and overall quality is US > europe and canada > asia.
Still quite surprise to the increased number of pg submission.

not only the money issue (funding?), but also the audience problem.
but PG is being increased steadily, ....
