类推，美国人填 american (以前也有点疑惑，american 难道不包括南美人吗？)
可以刚看到一个人的美国护照，上面的nationality （国籍）写的是 USA.
(中国护照没有nationality （国籍）一栏）。
所以糊涂了，到底是填 chinese, 还是 china？美国国籍呢？？ |

如果人家问你what's your nationality,你说i'm chinese.
所以中国大使馆斜的也没错。

You are not filling in the blanks in a sentence when doing paperwork. The
important thing is to make it simple and clear.
To me, it just feels weird to use the adjective term. I always use the noun.
