normally i shot 110 -120 yards for 9 iron( including rolling distance). last
sunday, i try to turn my wrist when contact, man, the ball hit so far,
about 150 yards, including rolling. try 7 iron, at least 170 . really dont
believe it since i used to use 7 iron to approach 140 -150 target. | ET

hitting longer, but not irons. you need a consistent and accurate distance
for each iron.

distance is close to serious players, like u. now i need to focus on
consistence and accuracy. also I need to start to build my driver swing.
BTW now my GIR goes up to 4-5 per round. that makes me very happy when u see
ur ball stays on green.

wind driving range,
hit several balls in a row for each club, check the averaged distance.
i am not questioning ur iron distance, i want to share how the distance is
measured. it does help your course managament if you know what you can do
for each club.

As a begginner, u do be excited when u can hit ball longer and longer when
using same club. couple month ago, when u said u can hit 170 yard by using 7
iron. i said, well, that was impossible for me since i try to hit 150 by
using 6 iron, i was thinking there is something wrong with my swing. now i
knew it was possible since i hit ball in same driving range and using same
club. that is a milestone for me. i knew my swing is getting improved. next

little bit..
unfortunately, i have to find out more things on my own lately. not about
swing, but about course management, physical management.
