It seems to be real tough guy's game. Much more brutal than UFC. |

a****l 发帖数: 141 | 3 In either UFC or K-1, it is rare to see knock-out kick. Only knock-out
punch. Especially in K-1, kick seems to become supplemental instead of
a deciding factor. It seems we have been fooled by old time kungfu
movies where kicks looks so powerful.
Or is it possible those fighters are less flexible and didn't
practice kick enough to make it really fast and powerful?
Just some of my thinking.
BTW any one practice filipino stick fighting?

a********y 发帖数: 34 | 6 I think punching is more effectvie and easy to deliver than kicking. I means,
given the same time of training, punching is easier to learn and is powerful
enough to knock out even with gloves.
Although kicking is powerful, it's relatively slow than punching. A boxer with
good moving skill can defeat a good kicker, as long as he can avoid or stand
the kick and quickly get in.
The basic fighting skills taught in US army is boxing and Jujitsu. the reason
is that those skills are more effective for
