Jiashu (Chris) Xu is the founder and president of United Construction &
Development Group Corp. and United Plumbing, Heating & Appliance Corp. At
the age of 18, Mr. Chris Xu emigrated with his family from China to the
United States. Since then Chris began to demonstrate his business acumen by
leading several of his high school classmates to perform housing related
work. He later became the founder and co-partner of United Plumbing, Heating
& Appliance Corp., a well-known plumbing and heating distributor in Queens,
New York. With his dedication and ambition, at the age of 24, Chris became
the sole owner of the plumbing store and also owned the property at the same
location. The value of this property alone is around $40 million nowadays.
In 1996, Chris founded his second company, which later became United
Construction & Development Group Corp. In just a few years, he has
successfully completed the development, construction, and management of a
wide range of projects including residential houses, condominiums, day care,
mixed-use retail/office buildings, supermarket, hotel and commercial
buildings, creating many jobs, new homes, and business opportunities in the
process.
Mr. Chris Xu’s construction footprint and property portfolio have extended
to Manhattan and overseas. Throughout his career, Chris has always been
actively involved in philanthropic endeavors as well. He has been recognized
by many of his leadership skills in business and charity. |
